Where Can I Serve?

Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of this church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. Church members are involved in ministries from things as simple as providing refreshment, preparing the church bulletins to mission field work.

Mission Outreach

Sumner Christian Fellowship is thrilled to be part of the spread of God's kingdom around the world. We are active in supporting these missionaries with our money and with our prayers.
The church is involved in local mission. Our minister of outreach Clay Smith, is involved in preaching and teaching the word in our local nursing homes, Door to Door, and active in evangelism.

God-honoring worship is something we strive for. The Lord has honor us with two Volunteer State Community College Students (Steven Brown) our Music leader and (Branden ) as our song leader to lead us in music and worship with a small choir  group.

Prayer Warriors

Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. Our Church is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God's sovereignty. Each Sunday, during the morning service, a team of volunteers is praying for the ministry of the Word. Throughout the week, our church members fast and Prayer for their pastor and all the needs of the congregation. a list of church members, any special requests, and missionary prayer needs. Each Wednesday, the church comes together for a special time of prayer and Bible study.
